Phoenix Synergy Guide

Phoenix is a Cosmic class champion in the Contest of Champions who forms a synergy with 11 other characters, available as a 2-Star, 3-Star, 4-Star and 5-Star champion.

Though Jean Grey and the Phoenix Force have long been separated, their bond is unique. More than a mere host, Jean is a part of the Phoenix, as the Phoenix is part of her. When Jean was brought to the Battlerealm and exposed to ISO-8, the highly mutagenic properties of the ISO-8 reopened Jean's latent connection to the universal force of life, and the Phoenix was reborn again, this time into the Contest of Champions!

Add Archangel to a team with Phoenix to activate the 'Mutant Agenda' synergy bonus, increasing 'Special Attack Damage' for the other Mutant champions in your team.

Team Phoenix with Cyclops (Blue Team) to create a perfect synergy, with each champion activating their own bonus depending on their star-rating. Phoenix activates the 'It's Complicated' synergy bonus providing additional 'Armor Rating' and 'Power Gain' for the whole team. Cyclops (Blue Team) adds the 'Romance' bonus, increasing 'Power Gain' for the whole team.

Add Emma Frost to a team with Phoenix to activate the 'Phoenix Force' synergy bonus, whenever Emma Frost would normally gain one Prowess Buff she instead gains two and for Phoenix entering Overload will not consume her Fury Buffs, instead all Fury Buffs are removed when she stops Overloading. This is a Unique Synergy which does not stack with duplicate synergies.
